Bananas is an upcoming short-form factual series, developed and produced through the Screen QLD/SBS Unscripted initiative. The series is a curious and playful look at growing up between two cultures in the Sunshine State, with particular focus on food and family, presented by two Australian-born Asian friends who are awkward, honest, and warm in equal parts.

The series celebrates a different perspective on the queer experience against the backdrop of a humid Brisbane summer.
